Hello
My airbox has some dirt in it; previous owner didn't make (buy) proper filter element. How it's possible to get out the airbox? Back wheel and fender off and then the airbox out comes from the side? Maybe it's easier to leave the airbox on and then try to clean it..
Thanks

Hi Kaarel
As far as I remember You can get the airbox out by removing the carbs
To remove the carbs You have first have to remove the two screws fitting the airbox in the frame, see here: http://www.gpz-305.de/English/Tips/Carbs.html and pull the airbox little bit back.
Maybee battery-box must also be removed.
If carbs are out, airbox schould also get out (a little tricky)
But since I do not own a gpz-305 any more and it is some 10 years ago I am not quite shure about it now. _________________ Grüsse

I took the front part of rear fender off..pushed it carefully under the frame and got it out. With little bit of moving (and taking the brakelight switch wire contacts apart) I was able to get the airbox out from the side. |
