Hi everyone. I'm in Australia and just bought an old gpz250 but I'm having trouble finding a manual (and I am new to motorcycles).
I need to adjust the clutch cable as I have to let the lever nearly all the way out to reach the friction point and I need to lower the rear brake pedal about 2cm. Can anyone help? Without the manual I have to guess the best way of doiong these.
Cheers

Hi Richard
Welcome to the 305 Board finding your way from down under!!
Usually the Brake pedal is mounted on a toothed shaft, so you can pull it off after removing the screw and put it back onto the shaft in another angle.
The clutch cable (if it is original ) has an adjuster at the little lever on the housing. The only point to adjust the clutch. Put the cable in a length that the hand lever for the clutch has about 3-5mm free space between mount and lever.
Have also a look to the american Kawasaki HP. -Very interesting!!
Best regards
